USCIS Now Accepting Credit Cards for All Fee-Based Forms
Finally, USCIS Makes the Credit Card Leap
Announced Wednesday, February 14th, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will now be accepting credit cards for form filing fee payments.
This option will be available for all of the forty-one fee-based forms, and allow Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. To take advantage of this new and long necessary option, applicants are to use Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transaction. These forms will of course be destroyed after processing in order to protect sensitive information.
While this option has been available for naturalization proceedings and renewing or replacing green cards when filing online, it is a welcome addition that the agency is finally accepting such payments for all its filings. At long last.
